SLA; keys is the next lesson in the Basic Lesson Series focusing on the home row. The SLA; typing lesson allows the student to focus on the keys S, L, A and semicolon (;) enhancing their keyboard familiarity.
In this lesson the left ring finger types the S key, right ring finger the L key, the left pinky for A and the right pinky for semicolon(;). One cool thing about this lesson is the animated basic lessons that come with it. The characters actually change their speed to match how fast or slow the student is learning.
The complexity of this lesson lies in the inclusion of the semicolon key which more often than not tends to be difficult to master at first. At TypingBird we understand this and that is why our lessons allow you to retake the lesson if you feel your goal was not met.
Our typing lessons for beginners are absolutely free and no account creation is required to start, though at more advanced stages you might need to create one to save your progress. With TypingBird’s fun and interactive method, learning the SLA; keys becomes a thrilling part of building solid skills in keyboarding for elementary students. This sets them on a path for future achievement in typing.
